Developed by the Australian Conservation Foundation to meet the need for a general conservation bibliography, this booklet offers resources for a wide spectrum of possible users. Material selected is that which is relevant and helpful for conservationists in their various fields of activity and what is likely to be in print and obtainable without much difficulty by lecturers, writers, general. The Colorado Preservation Alliance was created as a result of this meeting. The purpose of the Alliance is to coordinate preservation efforts on a statewide level and to develop a comprehensive statewide plan for the preservation of books, manuscripts, archival records, photographs, works of art on paper, audio-visual materials, and other media.
